Inyo County Dog Leash Laws

Dogs need daily exercise, and they also need socialization. That’s why it’s so common to see people out and about with their dogs on walks, hikes or even running errands in town. While that’s always a nice sight, it’s also important to make sure that the dogs and everyone they encounter are kept safe and secure.

That’s why Inyo County has dog leash and running at large laws. Below you’ll see the text and links to the dog leash/running at large laws that apply to the entire county, with the exception of Bishop, which is the only incorporated municipality.
